 Above, a Continental Empire commode in the Biedermeier taste, circa 1830-40. Cherrywood veneers form smooth massive surfaces framed by ebonized half columns and details over block feet. H. 31.5",w. 49.5", d. 24.5".


   A Thomas Seymour, Salem, Massachusetts mahogany games table, circa 1810-20's, with a deep serpentine shaped and well grained top above a conforming case with carved acanthus turrets having the earmark punchwork background. All above rope turned legs with the original brass castors. H. 29 , w. 33.75".
