Greetings,
This outstanding and large example of a Federal pier mirror (circa 1790-1810)  is likely of New York origin. The urn cresting overflows with wheat sheaves and is rimmed in oak leaves. Flanking are vining tendril forms within  stands of flowers and buds with outboard scrolls terminating in rosettes. All rests above the architecture of a deep cove mold with spheres above a flower with floral sprays to each side bound at the ends with flowing acanthus leaves in an ogee profile. The later glass is framed with leaf capped columns over rosettes and joined at the base by a cove with egg and dart-like detail. Old  patinaed finish with minor restorations. H. 76" , w. 32". Note: that the crest removes for shipping. Opportunity at $2450.

Below, a French Empire drum table, circa 1810-20's with later marble top on columnar legs joined by incurvate stretchers on bun feet. Minor restorations. D. 30", h. 31.5". $1800.

Below, an American mahogany lift top sewing table, circa 1790-1810, features an astragal corner case with inlays on the edge of the top and the apron, standing on flaring feet (restoration to one). Older silk cover, as found. H. 26.5", w. 24.5, d. 13". $750 will be the cost of this elegance.

This well-toned Continental mirror is a tall 54" height. A central urn sits within x-form fencing and bounded by robust flowers. The gilt finish has a worn shellac now peeling away to bright gold against the gray painted ground. Late 18th or early 19th century. $1600.
