 Greetings,

      Just arrived is this engaging Connecticut portrait by Alexander Hamilton Emmons (1816-1884). The subject is John Perkins (1778-1849) of Lisbon and Ipswich. The reverse of this oil has a " Kelley, New York" label stenciled, as well as an applied paper document of the artist and subject with details of the Perkins lineage. Overall 35" by 29" including a fine later gilt frame in old finish. $1200.  

       


  • Above, a New England maple tea table with desirable splayed legs and oval top. Original top and feet, overall 34 3/4" by 25" top and 26 1/2" height. 18th century.  $1395.

  An elegant pair of late 18th century baluster form Chinese export garniture urns with basket weave ground. Vignettes are outlined in navy and gilt with bittersweet highlights. Urn height 12'. Overall 26".  "Invisibly " restored. $975 the pair.
