Greetings,
In tune with summer is this charming oil on canvas, "A garden In Sussex"  attributed to John William Buxton Knight, 1842/3-1908. An old inscription remains on a label verso. Much less taxing than earthen gardens, with this on your wall, you can add this English garden, complete with ducks and cows, to enjoy the entire year. Bonus, put a stop to the incessant complaining from your gardening staff with idyllic setting. Eternity in the perfection of the English countryside can be owned.
The price will include professional restoration of the significant rococo frame. Image 24 1/2" by 29 3/8", with frame 35 1/2" by 41".

Below, a handsome and heavy armorial Chinese export platter, late 18th century, with no repair and only minor touch in to the crest. The rim is serpentine in form with a triple arched molding surrounding vining and floral decoration.15 3/4' by 11 1/2". $395.

This tall and elegant 18th century " Queen Anne " wing chair is among the most desirable forms in period furnishings. This era is known for the vertically rolled arms above tall cabriole legs. These legs have reeded c-scrolls and shell carved knees under a polished old finish. Minor repair, Height 44" , overall width at arms, 32 1/2". Upholstered in an older soft, pale gold cotton damask.
