This English early 19th century sofa table has a banded top over two drawers on a trestle base with reeded saber legs. In an excellent small size, the mahogany has good color and polish with brass pulls and brass cast paw feet. Minor restorations. W. 51", d. 20", h. 29". $1225. An oval top painted Regency sewing table, circa 1810 has detailed floral decoration and ribbons on a black ground. The shallow case with keys is supported on slender arched legs sweeping broadly to the ground and terminating in spade feet with x-form stretchers.
