 Greetings,
       Here are some highlights from this week. All of these pieces are available as of the moment of this letter. Please note that I will not send images of anything that is sold. However, if you love something, best to get back to us quickly to avoid regret.

     Above, the American ship is the Aquelnet, of Bristol, Rhode Island, circa 1859, in watercolor, ink, and graphite on paper. The captain's name is signed on the portrait of the ship. His Portrait in an ambrotype accompanies the ship picture. During his travels, Captain Rennell acquired relics that he sent to Sarah Wister Miller (1827-1921), a friend and suitor. Traveling throughout the far East, the ship arrived in Bengal from London on Dec. 10, 1847. Overall 16" x19 1/2". $1200.

 

      Below a lovely paint decorated window seat, ca. 1810-30. freshly covered, the bench has scrolling arms with strapwork splats above saber legs. W. 44',h. 29", d. 15". $1800. 

 

        

 

    A pair of Italian early 19th century terra cotta neoclassical urns with lacca povera details of scene from antiquity in printed paper applied to a faux black surface. Minor rim repair is invisible. H. 15", Diam 8 1/2". $975 the pair

    Pair of American clam broth color pressed glass candlesticks, ca. 1830's, Sandwich glass type with petal details on hexagonal faceted stems,hairline from heat at one nozzle. $295 the pair. H. 7".
