Greetings, Here are some highlights from this week. All of these pieces are available as of the moment of this letter. Please note that I will not send images of anything that is sold. Above, a 17th century English coffer or chest in old original ( I seldom use that word here, careful judge that I am) finish. This surface has depth and color often sought but seldom found. The steel escutcheon plate and lock is detailed and in good order. H. 25", w. 48", d. 20". $750 net.
Here is a tasteful and charming desk set done from French 18th century leather bound books in more recent times. The large set is for letters and papers. H. 8",d. 6.5", w. 11" $325 net for all three pieces.

The tureen form is a good one for the holidays. This one is 18th or early 19th century majolica and probably Italian. This is white tin glaze on pottery with the usual glaze chips associated with this ware as well as an in the making, original flaw across the bottom. a great piece for the dining table. H. 12", l. 17". $595.
