This week I thought you might like a look at my recently purchased globe. This is an old Rand McNally 18" circumference globe in what I would like to call library size. Overall, the height is 46" tall and 25" at the astrological/month band.
  It is in as used condition with typical wear and scratches, but without any holes or restorations. The style is of an Empire revival, circa 1890-1910. The wood is mahogany with a brass gradient. The pivots still work well.
