Greetings,
I'm pleased to offer this lovely New York City three part silver tea service by William Thompson, circa 1810. The simple elegance of this service carries many important neoclassical details including vine decorated handles, egg and dart rimming, Greek key borders, a fruit finial, and ball feet which may have been inspired by English porcelain of the period.
Teapot length 12". A clear maker's mark is on each piece. $2495 the set.
From London, the hallmarked castor below perhaps captures its elegance from the Georgian baluster turnings and Chippendale inspired piercings in furniture. Dated with the hallmark of 1762-3 with a light marker's mark at the rim and a bit of Victorian floral decoration at the sides. Height 5". $165.

Below, a clever Gearge III Hepplewhite pembroke reveals itself as a games table. The plain top slides at center to be reversed as a chess board or is removed to offer a backgammon board. Length 23", depth 20", height 24 1/2". Leaves are 6 1/2" deep. Mahogany with various contrasting wood inlays. All these pieces are available here for your viewing this weekend and beyond, subject to prior sale. We are glad to provide further detailed images or offer appointments here.
