Fine 17th, 18th, and 19th Century Antiques

Greetings,
A very snow filled day greets us again. Our lane has been plowed open and we are ready to greet you again.
Here are some my most recent acquisitions. All
are available here for your inspection and purchase. All are available as this email is published. Please call or email with your questions or comments.

Unusual and exotic Iberian 18th century dressing table in old ochre paint with gilt. In the Rococo style, with multiple folding tops and concealed drawers above a base of bold carved cabriole legs, this table has a faux marble top with a Rococo rim opening to a table suface with complex hunting and  landscape scenes with a unicorn, boar, bears, dogs, deer, hunters, architecture, gardens, and more framed in serpentine tendril rim. Further, this lid lifts to reveal an interior with small drawers, again decorated, and with a folding arched, gilded looking glass flanked by allegorical scenes. Unrestored and ready for your enjoyment. This exotic early Continental piece was deaccessioned by a mayor museum to raise funds for projects. It is in very well preserved condition and will not disappoint your close inspection. W. 33",d. 16 1/2" (closed) ,h. 30 1/2". You will not find this quality elsewhere.

This charming and detailed landscape by Remigius van Haanen glows with sunlight at center and offers a glimse at the 19th century Dutch landscape with figures, boats, fences, and red tiled roofs. Smoke curls from the cottage chimney. I want to live there!
Sight is 13 1/2" by 17 1/2" and bounded by a 19th century frame in old gilt. Van Haanen is well listed and much sought after in today's market.

This small late 18th c. inlaid mahogany restored sideboard is beautifully inlaid and of English origin. The bowfront displays much banding, line inlay, fan work, and inlaid pilasters. $2200 retail. Please contact me for for images and full specifics.

H. 36",w. 53 ½", d. 22 ½".
