Here is a lovely walnut English Queen Anne flip top tea or games table of the 18th century. The folding top opens over a swing leg and conceals a compartment below. this an especially curvaceous cabriole leg with a reed detail on the scroll support over full club feet. There are no major repairs. Temptation at $2100. H.29" ,w. 34" , d. 16 1/4". The American curly maple Hepplewhite stand offers one of the most desirable woods in American furniture. The curly top is mounted on the shaft with a carved wood screw fitting on a well turned pedestal with rare and correct light wood and ebonized wood detail. Please note the delicacy of this stand and the way the maker has carved a chamfer to the inside of the leg over the spade feet. No major repair. H. 28",w. 15 1/2" . Also in a most usable small size, is this American "Queen Anne" cherry tilt and turn "birdcage" tea table. The baluster turned shaft is delicate and well proportioned over cabriole legs with snake feet. An 18th century original with no major repairs. H. 27 1/4"w. 17" . $750.
