Rock 'N' Roll Marathon Registration is Open 

The Rock 'n' Roll Marathon will be held April 13, 2014, and will include a two-day Health and Fitness Expo at the Raleigh Convention Center. The Rock 'n' Roll Marathon Series combines musically themed marathons and half-marathons with live entertainment. It has been describe as "a 26.2-mile block party." Registration prices are $65 for the half-marathon and $75 for the full marathon. Registration prices will increase closer to the date of the race, so register today! 

Wolfpack Women Get New Head Coach     

NC State Director of Athletics Deborah A. Yow has formally announced that Wes Moore has been hired as NC State's new head women's basketball coach. Moore spent the past 15 seasons as the head coach at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.

The Greater Raleigh Sports Council Night Out with the Bulls will take place June 19 at the Durham Bulls Athletic Park. The event is exclusive for GRSC members only. Individual GRSC members receive up to four complimentary tickets. Corporate GRSC members receive up to 12 complimentary tickets. Additional family member tickets can be purchased for $20 each.

The 2013 Pigskin Preview will take place July 25. Join us for an afternoon of sports talk, and meet the Triangle/East Chapter's Division I football coaches. Attendees will also have the opportunity to bid on items from each university. Proceeds benefit the National Football Foundation College Hall of Fame - Triangle/East Chapter Scholarship Fund for Triangle-area high school athletes.
