ESPN BROADCASTER LEE CORSO TO KEYNOTE EVENING OF CHAMPIONS
ESPN broadcaster and college football analyst Lee Corso will be the keynote speaker at the Evening of Champions on Wednesday, Feb. 20, from 5 -- 8 p.m. at PNC Arena. The Evening of Champions program includes a reception with tours of the Carolina Hurricanes and NC State locker rooms, an awards dinner, and video highlights of 2012. Tables are still available.

Ron Francis Chosen as Hockey's First Inductee to NC Hall of Fame
Former Hurricanes star Ron Francis will be inducted into the 50th anniversary North Carolina Hall of Fame class on May 2. Francis had a standout career scoring 549 goals and earning 1,249 assists in 23 seasons in the NHL.
North Carolina High School Athletic Association Kicks off Centennial Celebrations
The NCHSAA has planned a yearlong centennial celebration. Activities include team reunions, administrator lunches, and charitable events. The Centennial Selection Committee is also accepting nominations for "100 to Remember."
