Dr. Chambo, Africa Regional Director, is pleased to announce that Dave Allen is the new Regional Finance and Stewardship Ministry Coordinator. Dave and Jen along with their children, Bethany and Max, arrived in Johannesburg on 12 July.

David and Jen say, "We felt a call to cross-cultural ministry four years ago and are excited to be here in Africa using our skills to help the region. It's apparent that God is doing big things here in Africa. We have already met many Sprit-led people who are committed to making disciples of Jesus throughout the region. We are humbled and honoured to be a part of such a godly team and we look forward to connecting with many others throughout the region."  

Dave was most recently the owner of an accounting practice. He also was the Dave Ramsey endorsed local provider and taught clients about stewardship. He has practiced public accounting for 10 years and holds a CPA license. He earned a Masters in Accountancy from Gonzaga University and a B.S. in Business Marketing from University of Idaho. Currently he is enrolled at Northwest Nazarene University to pursue a Masters of Divinity with an emphasis in missional leadership. Dave enjoys cooking, eating spicy food, reading, and playing/watching sports.

Jen has worked in education for the last 13 years. She has been a teacher, principal, and district director of special education. She holds a principal certification from Seattle Pacific University, a Masters in Teaching from Whitworth College, and a B.S. in Psychology from Washington State University. Jennifer enjoys spending time with their children, digital scrapbooking, reading, and dog training.

Bethany (age 7) is learning to cook and has a great zest for life. Bethany prayed about being a missionary for over a year and feels personally called to missions. Max (age 4) loves building with Legos and figuring out how things work. He loves Jesus and loves to pray for others.
