October 2015
 Issue No. 51

In these newsletters we often pause to thank you for your generous support. After all, we humbly recognize that we could not even begin to Retrain, Reclaim and Renew with you continuing to
donate goods, shop, deconstruct, volunteer, give, and spread the word about our mission. So once again, THANK YOU!

Your partnership has, in fact, been so robust this year that we were recently able to host a special staff appreciation event with an invitation to our nearly 150 employees and job trainees. It's not often that all our corporate, retail and deconstruction divisions get to gather together socially. But we were able to do so recently because you have helped us flourish.

With our President and his wife dishing out the yummies, we enjoyed a full belly, warm fellowship, hearty laughs, and some special gifts. So this month, we thank you for allowing us to tangibly thank those who serve here.

For some who are taking advantage of a second chance at vocational success through our workforce development programs, this was the very first time they've experienced a large-scale thank you for their hard work. But with your continued support, it won't be the last for them or those coming in their footsteps!

Gratefully,

WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT RECOGNITION
We're humbled to receive the Baltimore Workforce Investment Board's 2015 award for "Workforce Development Excellence." We've been privileged to see over the years how a steady job and vocational skills can change a life, then a family and beyond, so all the effort at "excellence" is worth it!
CUSTOMER CREATION
It's wonderful to see customers Michael and Eva purchase some of the decorative architectural elements we salvaged during deconstruction of the old Philadelphia Civic Center to reuse in their home!

This Halloween, don't be afraid to get your holiday shopping done early! We have a steady influx of unique gifts and enhancements for your entertaining.
