Spring is a fascinating season for sayings like these to converge at Second Chance Inc. The warmer temperatures, longer days and brighter skies invigorate many of us to clean, organize and refresh the home front.  We're even doing some of that throughout our own warehouse!

 

While sprucing up your home or business, please bear in mind that what may be old or tiresome to you could very well be a new treasure to someone else.  By donating such reusable and sellable items to Second Chance, much more than a "penny" is saved - you receive a tax donation receipt, green-collar jobs are created, and neighbors from around the region can enjoy your items at reduced cost.

 

Moreover, the items you donate are sparred from the harsh alternative - dumping them in an already overcrowded landfill. This sustainable practice of reuse (repair, recycle, repurpose, restore, re-love, etc.) is ever so timely as many pause to celebrate Earth Day on April 22.  By working together, not only do people, product and pocketbooks get a second chance, but even our very planet!
