Hasn't the weather made for a wild ride this summer? From scorching heat and drenching rains to an earthquake and hurricane, Mother Nature sure has kept us on our toes!

Now that we're transitioning to a (hopefully) more tranquil season, it's time to refocus on those projects we've pondered and postponed. In addition to the small sampling of new items presented below, our four warehouses are packed with tons (literally!) of fabulous, functional and fascinating items. You're sure to find something that fits your existing project or that inspires you to start a new one.

Before autumn's cooler temperatures and calmer days settle in, we're excited to heat it up one more time by ending this sizzling summer with a sizzling sale! Plan now to visit us on Warner Street near the Raven's Stadium this Sept. 9-11. Like every other day, we'll be open from 9 to 5. Unlike every other day, you'll find lots of extra markdowns!

Could your kitchen use anything from a tune-up to a complete over-haul? Second Chance has always offered lots of kitchen products, but now we're also offering extra expertise to get your project done in an efficient, attractive way!

Jenifer Gately of Canton Kitchens in Baltimore has 20 years of valuable experience in the construction and kitchen/bath industry, as well as degrees in psychology and design. Beginning Saturday, September 17 and alternating Saturdays thereafter, she will be on-site and available to meet with anyone interested in designing space using the very items we have in stock.

Jen says: "I believe there is an art to re-purposing (putting products to new uses). Coupled with the economic value, it is a great way to update your decor and create functional and beautiful changes in your home."

We'll supply the raw materials....you bring the questions, ideas, and measurements to "create functional and beautiful changes in your home!"
