       A Note From The Chairman
Tom Kennedy Head SHot

Dear Chamber Members,

March has arrived and your Cedar Hill Chamber working hard to serve you and your business. We have begun the planning process on several major events. The Gala, or Civic Auction, is our big focus right now. We aren't quite ready to release the location and date information, but it is going to be an awesome event.  Ms. Maranda Auzenne--of Uptown Village at Cedar Hill--is the chair for the Gala and is doing a great job. Volunteers are needed and auction items are always welcomed so please get in touch and let us know what you would like to do. You can call the Chamber at 972-291-7817 or email Adrienne at admin@cedarhillchamber.org.

The Golf Tournament is on our minds as well! It will be a unique event this year as we have partnered with Methodist Charlton Medical Center to host this outstanding tournament, which will be held at The Golf Club of Dallas this October. If you would like to volunteer to be a part of this exciting event please let us know.

The Young Professionals of Cedar Hill have started off the year with a roar! If you are between the ages of 21 and 39, you should check out this organization as a way to get involved in the community and be mentored by business professionals. Contact Michelle for more information, at membership@cedarhillchamber.org.

We had our first City~IMPACT~Business event in February. It was a success! This meeting is a great opportunity to learn how the city "impacts" your business and can keep you informed on what is going on in your city and community. It is a great place to network as well. C~I~B is held the third Wednesday of each month at the Cedar Hill Government Center. At the March event we will hear from several great speakers, including the Economic Development Corporation regarding new businesses coming to Cedar Hill. Join us at 7:30AM in the Court Room.

Cedar Hill is truly a city with a variety of opportunities for businesses to grow and make a difference. Your Chamber of Commerce strives to create events, networking opportunities, business classes, etc. to help you succeed. If you're not a chamber member think about checking us out. I promise you will not be disappointed.
