Old Town Holiday on the Hill Dec 6- 6-8 PM

 Historic Downtown will once again sparkle Thursday evening, December 6, 2012, when the City of Cedar Hill, Main Street Development and Preservation Board, Parks and Recreation, and downtown area businesses present Old Town Holiday on the Hill, the annual tree-lighting and holiday celebration at Pioneer Park. Santa will arrive at 6:30 p.m. to help Mayor Franke light the tree, then he will climb aboard his sleigh to pose with children for free pictures. Downtown merchants will provide holiday activities, specials and treats, and smart shoppers can get a head start on holiday gift purchases!
Come early to see all the events. Parking is available on Main, Texas and Broad streets.

Santa's Helpers Toy Drive Dec 7- 5-10 PM

We are excited for the upcoming WFAA-TV's Santa's Helpers toy drive here in Cedar Hill on: FRIDAY, DECMBER 7, 2012 FROM 5-10PM
We need your help!
This will be the only toy drive that WFAA-TV hosts in the Best Southwest area and it's up to our community to make this the largest toy drive in the metroplex!
What can you do?
Purchase toys and/or make plans for your own toy drive. Once you collect all your toys, bring them to the official Santa's Helpers Drive Thru at Uptown Village near the Village Green on Friday, December 7th!

The keynote speaker will be:
DALE HANSEN--WFAA SPORTS ANCHOR
Dale Hansen is the weeknight sports anchor during the 6 and 10 p.m. newscasts on WFAA. He is the host of "Dale Hansen's Sports Special," which airs Sunday night immediately following the News 8 Update at 10 p.m.
Hansen has received numerous distinctions including Sportscaster of the Year by the Associated Press, Texas Sportscaster of the Year by the National Sportscaster and Sportswriters Association, Best Sportscaster by United Press International and the Dallas Press Club and has been named Television Personality of the Year by the American Women in Radio and Television.
