It's that time of year again, when we begin the process for the election of the Board of Directors. There are 5 seats open in this years election.

 

This is YOUR Association! If you are interested in being an instrumental part in the guiding direction of this great Association, you are encouraged to submit an application by May 31. 

 

Please see the official notice below from our Secretary, Elyece Miller.

 

Seats are also available for the nominating committee. Both forms are attached below.

RE:     Nominating Committee

 

Per the Bylaws of the REALTORŪ Association of the Fox Valley Inc. Article XI. Section 5(b):

 

"No later than three months prior to the annual election, the Secretary shall request that the membership submit names to the Secretary of persons who wish to be considered for the Nominating Committee.  No later than two months before the annual election, a Nominating Committee will be appointed by the Board of Directors, comprised of not more than eleven (11) nor less than eight (8) REALTORŪ members of which no more than two may be past presidents and no more than two of whom are currently serving on the Board of Directors.  The Board of Directors shall name the chairman.  All Committee members shall be REALTORŪ members.  All members of the Committee shall be in good standing with the Association and meet recommended guidelines as established by the Board of Directors.  If appointed to the Committee, mandatory attendance is required.  If for some reason a member is unable to attend any meeting of the Nominating Committee where candidate interviews are conducted, that member will be removed from the Committee.  All terms will be for one year.  Vacancies in the Committee occurring before the Committee's first meeting may be filled by the Board of Directors".
