Although Parliament hasn't been sitting since June, the last few months have been anything but dull! If you aren't too consumed scanning news of the federal election, here are some interesting committee reports available for summer reading:

• Interested in Honduras? Check out the Foreign Affairs Subcommittee on International Human Rights study entitled, "Overcoming Violence and Impunity: Human Rights Challenges in Honduras," as well as the Government of Canada's response;
• Interested in Canada's perspective on ISIS? Read through the Foreign Affairs and International Development Committee study entitled, "Canada's Response to the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL)," as well as the Government of Canada's response;
• Interested in the government's perception of domestic security threats? Take a look at the Senate Committee on National Security and Defence's interim report entitled, "Countering the Terrorist Threat in Canada: An Interim Report";
• Interested in UN bodies working with children in conflict? Peruse the Senate Committee on Human Rights study entitled, "Are UNICEF and UNHCR Mandates Meeting the Needs of Syrian Children?"
