Hillside Activities 
PSSA,  Grades 3 & 4
Testing commences on April 12, 2016
The PSSA Writing and Reading tests will be administered to Grades 3 and 4 students from Tuesday, April 12 through Friday, April 15, 2016. The PSSA Math test will be given from Tuesday, April 19 through Thursday, April 21, 2016. The PSSA Science tests will be administered to Grade 4 students from Wednesday, April 27 though Through Thursday, April 28, 2016. A Galaxy Far Away : Bricks4kidz
Mondays April 4-May 9 
3.30-4.30pm
Very soon...in a galaxy not so far away...Bricks 4 Kidz is bringing the force to you in this exciting class where we will learn and build the Star Wars way!!! Students will build motorized and non motorized models inspired by NASA and Star WarsTM. Our program is packed full of models that will make your imagination blast off! $90 for the 6 Mondays session. Register online.

Parents of incoming 5th Graders -VFMS PTO needs you
Despite what you may have heard, VFMS PTO needs you! We have plenty of volunteer opportunities available and we also need a couple of board members to complete our Executive Board. This is where you will get to know the Principal and his staff and be able to understand the workings of the school and influence the decision makers. The Children's Dental Clinic needs your help !! 
Yankee Candle Fundraiser through June 30, 2016
The Children's Dental Clinic is a 501(c)(3) non-profit community clinic housed in T/E Middle School benefiting children in need in the T/E and Great Valley school districts. After 42 years, Campbell's has announced that their Labels for Education program will be ending in August 2016. Please send in your labels NOW while they still have value!!!!

Library Rental Card Fundraiser
Starts March 29, 2016
What? National Library Week Special Fundraiser!
Why? To raise money for Hillside Elementary PTO and support our libraries!
Tredyffrin and Paoli Libraries now offer pre-paid rental cards in $5 and $10 increments to rent DVDs, audiobooks and video games. Purchase via our special Fundraising Sale 3/29-4/12, and Hillside PTO will earn 30% of the total! Keep an eye out for the order form coming home in backpacks after spring break.
District/Community Partnership
T/E's got Talent
Thursday, March 31, 2016, 7pm                 Come see a variety show that will entertain the whole family! The evening will include comedy, music and dance from T/E teachers and staff (elementary, middle and high school). Proceeds benefit ARCH and support future community programs. T/E FLITE Crew vs HARLEM WIZARDS

Conestoga High School                 
The Foundation for Learning In Tredyffrin/Easttown (FLITE) has invited the Harlem Wizards to return to play a team of T/E teachers, administrators, and students. This popular community basketball event raises money to support FLITE-funded programs in our School District. Tickets available online only.

T&E Care 5th Annual Kids Clothing Drive
Collection dates..March 31-April 9, 2016
It's that time of year again! Once again, Hillside will serve as a collection point for clothing donations for the T&E Care Grab Bag! Please search your closets for KIDS clothes and shoes - infants thru teens - either gently used or even new and drop them off at the donation box in the Hillside lobby. BUILD Meeting

We are a group of parents and family members who have students with learning differences of all types and welcome parents residing in TESD.  At our upcoming meeting Neuropsychologist Dr. Anne Robbins will be speaking about Neuropsych Evals and answering your questions about them. It will be in the T/E Admin Bldg, 940 West Valley Road, Suite 1700, Wayne in Room 201. All welcome! Contact Liliane Min with any questions. 

Showcase of JAZZ

Conestoga High School
Conestoga High School and TEMPO (Tredyffrin Easttown Music Parents Organization) will sponsor the second annual Stoga Showcase of Jazz... a Cavalcade of Bands Jazz Festival, to be held at Conestoga High School. We are excited to bring together students and community in an effort to promote the Jazz genre of music -- which is in fact America's only true art form begun hundreds of years ago. Buy or sell crafts and household goods while supporting the spring Health Fair at Conestoga! The CHS Peer Mediation Club invites you to its annual Craft Fair & Flea Market.
