Old Pasadena Film Festival

All this month, 20 free movies will be presented at three locations - Central Park, One Colorado Courtyard and Distant Lands. Films include "Annie Hall," "Chicago," "Mildred Pierce," "The Ring," "The Third Man," "Young Frankenstein" and many more.

Be prepared for traffic and noise

Special events are scheduled at the Rose Bowl Stadium on July 7 (soccer double header) and July 28 (Justin Timberlake/Jay-Z concert). Stadium parking lots on both dates will open several hours in advance, so expect potential traffic delays; the concert will feature amplified sound.

Free summer concerts continue

Memorial Park will be filled with great music Tuesday evenings this summer. Mariachi Bella, The Salty Suites, Tumbleweed Rob and the Southwest Junction, and Pasadena Summer Youth Chamber Orchestra are featured this month.

Family Free Day

Be sure to visit the Pasadena Museum of History's popular exhibition "I Do! I Do! Pasadena Ties the Knot 1850 to 1950" before it ends on July 14, which is also Family Free Day.

ARTS Bus update

There has been a schedule adjustment for Pasadena ARTS Bus route 51/52 to improve on-time arrivals. This route serves Old Pasadena, the South Raymond corridor, both of the Art Center College of Design campuses and JPL. Certain other routes, including the South Lake and Playhouse districts, have been updated as well.

  • We have lots of opportunities to serve on one of our many committees:
