Latest crime statistics April crime statistics from the Pasadena Police Department show an increase in home burglaries; burglaries from vehicles are about the same as last year. Click on the headline above to view the PPD statistics; click here for WPRA neighborhood safety information. San Rafael School to remain open for now Pasadena Unified School District has confirmed with District 6 City Councilman Steve Madison's office that San Rafael Elementary School will remain open at least through June 2015 and there will be no lease agreement with any other institution during that period. This will provide more time to PUSD and San Rafael families to plan for any future transitions. WPRA is proud to have "adopted" San Rafael, the last public elementary school in this service area, through the WPRA Student Enrichment Program.
