Wed June 5 - 2:30 PM Ribbon Cutting / "Turn the Key" for the Food Bank of Siouxland to celebrate and show off the new truck they were awarded through a grant. They are located at 1313 11th Street.

Bud Albrecht's 89th Surprise Birthday Party at the Albrecht Cycle Shop, 200 5th Street, from 10:30 AM to 4:30 PM. Hamburgers and hot dogs will be served and everything in the shop will be 10% off for that day.

Thur May 23 - 6:30 AM to 9:30 AM - Jed Arnold Benefit Drive - L&L Builders will be having a Pancake Breakfast Benefit for their long time employee Jed Arnold, who has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. It is a free will donation that will go to his family to help with medical expenses. It will be at 2201 Fourth St. E., west of their main office. Click her for more details.

Sat June 1 - Lilly Family Dentistry will be hosting their second annual Dentistry From The Heart (DFTH) event. They will provide adults, 18 and over, with a FREE extraction, filling or cleaning. This event will be at 2100 Indian Hills Drive. Event registration will begin at 6:30 AM and Team Lilly will see as many patients as they can through 4:00 PM. Services are first come, first served so patients are encouraged to come early, dress appropriately for the weather, and to bring chairs, blankets, water, snacks, etc. as they will be outside waiting to be seen.
