Wed May 1 - 1:00 PM Ribbon Cutting for 1st Step Chiropractic & Wellness, 1125 Pierce St., Suite 200. Entrance is in the alley, off of 12th street, between Pierce and Douglas. Open House from 12:00 noon to 2:00 PM.
Wed May 8 - 10:00 AM Ribbon Cutting for Alloy Wheel Repair Specialists, a mobile tire repair service. Ribbon cutting will be at the Chamber offices, 101 Pierce Street.
Wed May 15 - 10:15 AM Ribbon Cutting for Farmers Market, will be right after the Mayor's press conference, in the parking lot west of the Tyson Event Center. Click here for more details.

Fri May 3 - 7:00 AM Government Relations Meeting at the Chamber. Representative Chuck Soderberg will provide an Iowa legislative update.

First Friday Coffee: Welcome to Medicare 

The next session will be held on May 3rd from 1:30 to 4:00 at Siouxland Aging Services, 2301 Pierce Street.   Pre-registration is required as space is limited. There is no cost to attend.

Sat May 4 - Cinco De Mayo in Siouxland  

will be held at the Marina Inn Exhibit Hall in South Sioux City, NE. For 12 years, this festival facilitates the exchange of services, products, values and ideas. It is the bridge between unique and invaluable cultures that coexist in the Siouxland Area. Click here for more details.

Sun May 5 - Susan G Komen Siouxland Race for the Cure starting this year at the Sioux City Convention Center. Register online now at KomenSiouxland.org  The Expo opens at 7:00 AM, Kids race at 8:00 AM, Opening Ceremony at 8:15 and Race Starting at 9:00 AM.
