Ahhhh....Fall!
One more week and we'll be turning the corner into a new CSA season. Though the timing may seem arbitrary, it actually coincides with a dramatic shift in both weather and crops. While tomatoes might hold on

Early November CSA

for a week or two, you can expect over the 12-week Fall Season to see most or all of the following:
* Butternut and acorn squash
* Carrots, beets, radishes, and sweet and storage turnips
* Lettuce, spinach, kale, chard, bok choi, tatsoi and mesclun
* Onions, garlic, shallots and leeks
* Broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage and kohlrabi
* Potatoes and herbs
The cool weather-loving greens combined with a nice array of root crops, brassicas, and winter squash provide the greatest variety from

week to week of any of our CSA seasons.
We're delighted that so many of you are continuing in the Fall. There's still room for the rest of you. To keep your deliveries coming without interruption, be sure to sign up (by updating your membership) by midnight on Saturday, September 28.
