Heading into the stretch . . .
We have four more weeks of deliveries, heading well into the big year-end holiday season. There should be spinach for everyone this week, providing a preview to the spinach that will make up much of our new Winter Season share. The hoop houses are planted with spinach at intervals to keep it coming well into March. And with each deep freeze it endures it comes out stronger, thicker, and sweeter. Spinach will pair with our jars of whole roasted tomatoes most weeks of the Winter Season as the backbone of the box, rounded out with carrots, onions, frozen squash, radishes, frozen berries, and more.

Sticker shock. We've long wondered how to make sure everyone knows to return the wax boxes. Though we mention it in several places on the website and occasionally in these newsletters, there are still a few folks who slip through the cracks. Someone not at the farm recently suggested to Chris that we could put printed stickers on the box. It was a "duh!" moment for many of us, and quite easy to accomplish. So don't take it personally.... but do continue to return those boxes!
