Dear Common Thread CSA members,

We are excited to be able to officially invite you to join Common Thread CSA for 2013! We have heard wonderful things about the farm and community and we are grateful to be able to farm at Common Thread in 2013 and beyond. We will be at the farm on and off in December and plan to officially move from Poughkeepsie at the end of December.

While we have a lot of ideas and are looking forward to hearing your ideas for the farm, and have a few changes planned for 2013, we are trying to keep those changes to a minimum and work with the systems that are familiar to you. For the on-farm shares, we will keep the farm shop open for the same hours and have an open choice system as well as open pick your own hours. For the boxed shares, we hope to drop off at the same locations and keep the share size similar to 2012. We will send a survey out in the next few weeks to collect your ideas about vegetable preferences, member events, and other aspects of the farm and CSA.

We have two share forms this year, one for on-farm pick up and one for the delivered boxed share. Forms can be printed and mailed to Common Thread CSA, PO Box 407, Hamilton, NY 13346.

If you know of someone else who might be interested in joining the CSA this season, we would appreciate it very much if you would share our information and a share form with them.
