Dear Parents and Members of the Pope John XXIII Community,

As members of the school's new Board of Directors, we are humbled and excited about working with you. As explained during Mass on the Feast Day of Blessed John XXIII, we are embarking on a Year of Faith, for the Church and Pope John XXIII High School. We are therefore reaching out to this community, to ask for your support and to request that you consider joining our efforts.

As a Board, we are responsible for setting policy and supporting the administration, faculty and staff, who are responsible for the school's day-to-day activities. However, we need the support of this entire community of faith. Faith can be a wholly renewing force, and we know that our faith as a community will bring us closer together. It can also revitalize our hope and determination for a future of continued success. Through our faith, we will continue to dedicate ourselves to service for our students, faculty, alumni, parents, and future Lions.

We would like to invite you to join us in this Year of Faith. Together, we can create a community deeply grateful for the many sacrifices already given, building on the Pope John family spirit to set us apart as shining tribute to God. We are most interested in communication with all of you and will be seeking new ideas, involvement, and support from the Pope John community as we move into the future. We cannot, nor do we wish, to do this by ourselves. Your involvement is needed.

As established through our by-laws, we are now forming standing committees to assist in various matters related to supporting the School and its activities.
