The continued growth of professional coaching has opened new career opportunities around the world. According to the 2014 ICF Global Consumer Awareness Survey, 88% of those who have participated in a coaching relationship reported that it was important/very important that their coach hold a certification/credential. And 74% of those who were familiar with coaching but who had not yet participated in a coaching relationship also reported that it was important/very important that a coach hold a certification/credential.
Last week, in Partnership with InVision Asia, Chris Lam, President of Invision Asia, and Source Point Training, took the next step in expanding the newly established Asia Coaching & Mentoring Academy with the launch of Mastery Coach Certification in Hong Kong. All of the participants, having completed and received their certificate for Advanced Coach Certification, were excited and eager to jump into the Mastery Coach Certification curriculum! InVision's motto is "We Build Great Company by Building Great People". Next month, a group in Taipei will begin their Mastery Coach Certification as well!
In addition to the rise in professional coaches, organizations are now seeing the value of having a coaching resource available to their employees.
