Lottie Moon Christmas Offering
With Christmas quickly approaching, we are reminded of the missionaries around the world who need our prayers and financial support. The Lottie Moon Christmas Offering is an annual collection that sends 100% of the funds to support international missionaries and their ministries. Please watch this video and follow this link to learn more about the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering and how it is used to further God's Kingdom here on earth. Our church has set a goal of $25,000 to be collected for the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering, with a challenge of $30,000. Please pray for God's power and glory to be manifested through this year's Lottie Moon Christmas Offering so that the Gospel of Jesus Christ is shared throughout the world and that God will work through the missionaries to meet the human needs of those who are suffering. And then ask God to direct you as to how you can contribute and participate.

Christmas Season Events at TBC
Please pray for God to shape your heart and guide you to people to invite to our Christmas season events! There are many opportunities to invite your friends, family, co-workers, neighbors, and classmates to evenings of music, fellowship, contemplation, and celebration of Ἐμμανουήλ ( Emmanuel) - God with us through Christ Jesus! December 6th at 5:00 p.m. - Music Festival for Kids. Gingerbread House DecoratingCome enjoy the Children's Choir and other talented young ones who will perform pieces of music that they've been diligently working on all year! Following the music, join us in the Fellowship Hall to decorate gingerbread houses and hear how this relates to the good news of Jesus Christ. December 13th at 6:00 p.m. - Christmas Music CelebrationCome enjoy the Adult Choir and others sing many of the familiar Christmas music and carols that we know and love. This will be a time when we can all sing together and lift our joyful voices in celebration of the birth of our Savior, Christ Jesus our Lord! There will be a light reception afterwards to allow for welcoming guests and making new friendships. December 21st at 7:00 p.m. - "Blue Christmas" Service This will be a quiet worship service for people who have trouble feeling "in the spirit" of Christmas, whether because of a recent (or anticipated) death of a family member or friend, the difficulty or end of a marriage, health concerns, the loss of work, or a move away from the place that's been home. At a time when many people are focused on choosing gifts, planning special meals, and singing upbeat Christmas carols, it can be hard to reconcile with feelings of sadness, anger and loss. Does this describe any of the painful "blues" you may be experiencing right now as we enter the Christmas Season? Then perhaps this "Blue Christmas" Service is for you. All are welcome. The short service will be followed by a brief time for light refreshments and fellowship.
December 24th at 5:00 p.m. - Christmas Eve Service for families with young childrenCome enjoy an interactive Christmas Eve Service that has young children as its primary audience. The children will have opportunities to be a part of the service itself and to be as energetic as they want to be! December 24th at 7:00 p.m - Traditional Christmas Eve ServiceCome enjoy a more traditional Christmas Eve Service with longtime Christmas carol favorites interjected with accompanying readings of God's Word. Please invite guests to join you to take a moment out of the busy holiday season to worship the Lord Jesus Christ and reflect upon the true meaning of Christmas.

Personnel Committee: Christmas Love Offering for TBC Staff
Dear Tiburon Baptist Church Family, This is the season to remember all of the blessings God has bestowed upon us, while expressing our love and appreciation for others.
The past year has been one of the most eventful in the life of Tiburon Baptist Church as we have dealt with the impact of the seminary move on our congregation and on beloved staff members. While these changes have been difficult, we have also been greatly blessed. We have added new members to our fellowship, and our staff has continued to serve the church with incredible grace and leadership. We are grateful to Brice Butler and Stephen Aoki who have led us in worship and ministry along with those who have joined us this year: Don Dent, interim pastor; Chris Harrold, youth minister; Pashia Greene, administrative assistant; and most recently, Steve Howell, minister of music and worship. We are hopeful for the future and excited about where God is leading.
Each year, our church gathers a special "Christmas Love Offering" to express our appreciation for their service. If you would like to contribute to this special love offering, you have several options:
- Place your gift in the offering envelopes available in the pew and mark it "Staff Gift"
- You may also mail in your gift to the church office
Checks should be made out to Tiburon Baptist Church and make sure they are marked "Staff Gift". All gestures of love are greatly appreciated. Please note that we would like to receive your contributions no later than December 17th as we plan to present the gifts at the 11:00 a.m. service on Sunday, Dec 20th.
Thank you for remembering our very special staff members this Christmas.
