Paramahansa Yogananda's "A Meditation on Resurrection"
|
Christ is risen. He is risen from the limitations of the physical body, the astral body, and the causal body into Omnipresence. One with omnipresent Christ Consciousness, Jesus is risen in the heart of every flower, every ray of sunshine, every noble thought. He is risen in the atomic age, and all its devastations will not hide the birth of his spirit of new life, new humanity, rising from the cradle of wisdom and universal love.
He is risen in our minds, our hearts, our souls − there is no separation between him and us. He is walking in the garden of our love, in the garden of our sacred devotion, in the garden of our meditation and Kriya Yoga.

An Easter Message From Sri Mrinalini Mata

Easter greetings to you, with much joy from the ashrams of Paramahansa Yogananda! He taught us to reverence the Easter message of resurrection as an eternal affirmation for all of God's children that no matter how dark the storm clouds in this troubled world, we have the power to rise above them into a vaster consciousness of God's light and glory.

Thousands Inspired by Documentary Film
 The feature-length documentary film Awake: The Life of Yogananda, released by CounterPoint Films in October 2014, continues to draw new audiences of seekers around the globe as international theatrical showings sell out and expand to a growing number of cities. In London, England, 80 years after Paramahansa Yogananda's last visit in 1936, Awake − bringing the Guru's presence and universal message to a new generation − was received with enthusiasm by a capacity audience at the SRF London Center on January 10, as well as at an exclusive screening at the House of Lords on Monday, January 11. Invitees at the British House of Lords event included parliamentarians and diplomats (including the deputy High Commissioner of India), prominent religious leaders of many faiths, representatives of the Armed Forces, and business and civic leaders − many of whom expressed high praise for the film after the screening. Restoration of the Windmill Chapel: Inspiring New Video

We are pleased to share a short video about the recent restoration and earthquake retrofit of the Windmill Chapel at the Self-Realization Fellowship Lake Shrine. Paramahansa Yogananda blessed this sanctuary with his presence on numerous occasions. Today, it is a tranquil haven for the thousands who come here each year to meditate and pray. We hope you enjoy this inspiring look at the labor of love that went into the restoration of one of SRF's most distinctive and beloved shrines. Read more. |
