One of Paramahansa Yogananda's life-long missions was to promote the one Reality behind all the world's true religions, and to provide truth-seekers of both East and West with the universal science of God-realization − the means to awaken a deeper awareness of the innate divinity latent in every human being.
Among the ways in which Paramahansaji promoted the unity of the world's religions was through his lectures and writings. In these, he has revealed the hidden metaphysical truths of the great scriptures of East and West, and has shown how these sacred texts lead the seeker along the same universal path to oneness with God. In this and future eNewsletters, we look forward to sharing with you excerpts from Paramahansaji's revelatory interpretations of the great scriptures of East and West. Since Easter is celebrated this month, we invite you to explore "The Hidden Truths in the Gospels," a selection of passages from The Second Coming of Christ: The Resurrection of the Christ Within You − Paramahansa Yogananda's highly acclaimed two-volume commentary on the New Testament.

 The glorious, soul-uplifting Easter message of resurrection brings assurance that in the midst of life's uncertainties and experiences that often confound our human heart and understanding, a divine hand is guiding us to fulfill the highest destiny God has planned for each of His children − the boundless freedom and joy of union with Him. Our souls are endowed with the power to transcend all mortal limitations and manifest His infinite nature; but our matter-bound consciousness, immersed in the relativities of this world, often finds it difficult to accept that truth.
