Corner Stone VNA Presents "There's No Place Like Home" Annual Dinner

November 8th, 6pm at the Oaks in Somersworth

Cornerstone VNA will be hosting their annual Dinner & Silent Auction on November 8, 2014 at The Oaks in Somersworth, New Hampshire. The event, "There's No Place Like Home", will take place at 6 pm and will feature a social hour followed by dinner and music. "This event is our most important fundraiser of the year," states Julie Reynolds, CEO. "It is a perfect venue to share some of the reasons why supporting the VNA is so important to our patients, their families and to the community." A Silent Auction will be featured throughout the evening and the proceeds will benefit the many grateful patients who receive extraordinary care from the Cornerstone VNA.

PCA Presents "The Miracle Worker"

November 6-8, Nightly at 7pm, Saturday matinee at 2pm

$10 general admission, $8 PCA Students and Staff. Tickets are available online or at the door. An uplifting and powerful tale, "The Miracle Worker" tells the story of a young Helen Keller. Left without her hearing or sight after a devastating childhood illness, Helen's life changes when she meets her remarkable teacher, Anne Sullivan, and finally begins to connect with the world around her. One of the most fascinating true stories ever brought to the stage.

 Salute to the Seacoast: Beer Tasting and Food Pairing

November 13th, 6-9pm

The Sheraton Harborside, Portsmouth, NH

Featuring sumptuous food parings, dessert bar, Crab Shack Band, Silent Auction plus Beer and Wine Raffle. Brewers include 7th Settlement, Shipyard Brewery, Moat Mountain Brewing Company, Redhook Brewery, Tuckerman's Ale and Smuttynose Brewery. Tickets are $50 and can be purchase here.

November 27th, Thanksgiving Day at 8:30 am 

The Dover Turkey Trot is the 11th and final race of the New Dover Race Series. Dover Turkey Trot will be a USAT&F Certified race course and will be timed by Granite State Racing Services. The race will begin and end on Shaw's Lane next to Garrison School in Dover, NH.  The first 200 registered runners will receive a FREE Dover Turkey Trot t-shirt! Head on over to the Annual Halloween Candy Buy Back at JD Howard Dental. Children can bring their candy to 375 Sixth Street in Dover and for every pound of candy they turn in they will receive $1 and a cool new tooth brush! The candy turned in will then be shipped to our men and women overseas!
