Seacoast Irish Fest! September 27th, 12pm-6pm Tickets for Seacoast Irish Fest are on sale now and can be ordered in advance for $15 online or purchased at the Dover Chamber of Commerce and Nicole's Hallmark in Downtown Dover. Tickets can also be purchased at the gate the day of the event for $20. Kids 12 and under are admitted free of charge. There is also the opportunity to become a Friend Of The Festival and receive 2 general admission tickets, 2 Commemorative T Shirts, a listing in the program and more!

Kids Fall Consignment Sale
The Childrens Museum of New Hampshire is having its Fall Consignment Sale of children's clothing and gear. The sale will be held at the Hellenic Center at 219 Long Hill Road in Dover. The sale is open on to the public on Saturday, October 4 from 9:30 am - 4 pm and on Sunday, October 6 from 10 am - 1 pm. Past sales have featured more than 10,000 items. People who consign items will earn 60% of the revenue from their sold items. The remaining net proceeds will benefit the Children's Museum of NH and its vital education and outreach programs.

Dover Professional Firefighters Local 1312 and Dover Professional Fire Officers Local 2909 are partnering with Operation Warm. They are committed to providing brand-new winter coats for at least 200 local children. Please join them in their fight against poverty: Donate here and attend:
Fundraiser # 1 will be held at the Thirsty Moose Taphouse at 83 Washington Street on Wednesday, September 24th, 2014 from 6-9pm. 10% of the proceeds from the night during that time period will be donated to the fundraiser. Door prizes and a bracelet system upon entry for discounted drinks are in the works at this time. Please come out and join them for this family event.
Fundraiser # 2 will be held at Dover Bowl on Sunday, October 5, 2014 from 11am-1pm. $100 per team, max of 5 people per team. The owner has offered to shut down the facility for them to use exclusively during this time period with all proceeds going towards Operation Warm. If they can sell out this event we have the potential to raise upwards of $2200-$2600 with this one event!

Once a diagnosis with little hope, today's patients with cancer are surviving treatment and moving on with their lives thanks to support and wellness services now available at our Seacoast Cancer Center. Funding is available for some of these programs but more is needed to support our patients and their families. Patients are living with cancer everyday and our wish is for them to be well. First Annual Charity Bike Ride
The Monarch School of New England, the Rochester Main Street Program
and the Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce host the first charity bike ride in Rochester, New Hampshire. On Saturday, October 11, the Monarch School of New England the Rochester Main Street Program and the Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce, will host the first charity bike ride to be held in Rochester, New Hampshire. Pine Hill Cemetery Tour

The Greater Dover Chamber of Commerce offers its second of two Guided Walking Cemetery Tours. Walkers will meet at the Ricker Memorial Chapel for a tour that will take approximately 90 minutes. Reservations are $8 per person, $10 day of. Please arrive 10-15 minutes ahead of time. Cash only for day of sales. A water bottle and sneakers are recommended. Garrison Players open their season with the American farce "Sex Please We're Sixty" by Michael Parker and Susan Parker, directed by Carol MacDonald. Mrs. Stancliffe's Rose Cottage Bed & Breakfast has been successful for many years. Her neighbor, Bud Davis (Bob Boucher), believes the female guests come to spend time with him. The prim Mrs. Stancliffe (Carol Adams Bitov) reluctantly accepts that "Bud the Stud" is, in fact, good for business. Her other neighbor Henry Mitchell (Steve McNally) is a retired chemist who has developed a pill to increase the libido of menopausal women.

Exciting Fall Classes at Dover Adult Learning Center
Dover Adult Learning Center is offering a wide array of classes for the fall, so there is sure to be something that will interest you! How about Reiki for Beginners? Reiki is one of the simplest, most powerful healing techniques for pain, stress, anxiety, and more; class begins October 20. Or perhaps you'd like to improve your sign language skills? Intermediate American Sign Language starts on October 9 and emphasizes learning the basic person-to-person conversation signing skills - plus you'll learn over 1,500 vocabulary items! We're also offering computer classes such as Windows 7, being held on November 17, which teaches how to create and manage folders and documents, and how to use common tools and shortcuts.
