Night at the Woodman Museum Returns; August 22, 23 & 24

Guided Walking Tours of Historic Dover
Saturdays through September 13th, 10:30am
The Greater Dover Chamber of Commerce offer Guided Walking Tours of Historic Dover on Saturday mornings this summer. Tours begin at the Dover Chamber and will leisurely stroll through Dover's Historic Downtown. There will be numerous stops along the way where a guide will point out places of interest, offer historical perspective, and share stories and anecdotes about the people, places and events that have helped shape Dover. Reservations are recommend and can be made by calling (603) 742-2218.

High-flying fun at the Children's Museum on August 15
The Children's Museum of NH is celebrating one of its most popular activities with a day of hands-on, high-flying fun. Slingshots and Catapults Day will be held on Friday, August 15 from 11 am - 3 pm at the museum in Dover.There will be places to test out and tweak these creations, and museum educators will lead outdoor demonstrations, weather permitting) at 11 am, 12 pm, 1 pm and 2 pm. All catapult and slingshot activities are included in regular paid admission and are free for Children's Museum members. No reservations are required and activities will be available throughout the 4-hour period.

September 28, 2014, 10 a.m. Once a diagnosis with little hope, today's patients with cancer are surviving treatment and moving on with their lives thanks to support and wellness services now available at our Seacoast Cancer Center. Funding is available for some of these programs but more is needed to support our patients and their families. Patients are living with cancer everyday and our wish is for them to be well. Children's Activities at the Wentworth HouseHands-on children's games and activities will be offered on Sunday, August 17 from 1 to 4 pm at the Colonel Paul Wentworth House in Rollinsford. This event is in connection with this summer's exhibit at the Wentworth House, "Seen But Not Heard: Childhood in New England." Exctiting News from Childlight Yoga!
Childlight Yoga is now a registered yoga school (RYS) with the Yoga Alliance Organization. Yoga teachers who register with Yoga Alliance as a 200hr RYT are now able to earn the children's yoga teacher specialty designation of Registered Children's Yoga Teacher (RCYT) by completing ChildLight Yoga's 95 hr.
