 Enchanting Gardens Opening at Gallery 6
Thursday, June 5, 5:30pm to 7:00pm
The community is welcome to attend The Children's Museum of New Hampshire opening reception for Enchanting Gardens, a 14 artist collaboration on the botanical theme, which is sure to bewitch and delight visitors. Enchanting Gardens will be in Gallery 6 from June 1 through September 1.

Guided Walking Tours of Historic Dover

The Greater Dover Chamber of Commerce will once again offer Guided Walking Tours of Historic Dover on Saturday mornings this summer. Tours begin at the Dover Chamber and will leisurely stroll through Dover's Historic Downtown area, with numerous stops along the way during which the Guide will point out places of interest, offer historical perspective, and share stories and anecdotes about the people, places and events that have helped shape Dover.  Corvettes Doo Wop Revue at Rochester Opera House Saturday, May 31st, 7:00pm There will be doo wop dancing in the aisles at the Rochester Opera House when the Corvettes Doo Wop Revue returns for the third season in a row. They will take you on a trip back in time, when cruising the strip, hanging out at the drive-in and cranking up the tunes on the jukebox were cool. |
National Geographic Adventurer of the Year at Dover Library

The Dover Public Library will host an inspiring program of adventure, hardship, pain, and triumph. Author and speaker Jennifer Pharr Davis, author, three-time Appalachian Trail thru-hiker, and 2012 National Geographic Adventurer of the Year, will discuss her 2011 record-breaking trek, completing the entire Appalachian Trail in 46 days! The 7th Annual 5K to Keep Kids SAFE is back! Walkers and runners are encouraged to participate. T-shirts will be given out to the first 150 registrants. This event is family friendly and includes a Kids Corner. Participating in this 5K helps to raise proceeds for SASS Safe Kids Strong Teens.

Once a diagnosis with little hope, today's patients with cancer are surviving treatment and moving on with their lives thanks to support and wellness services now available at the Wentworth-Douglass Hospital Seacoast Cancer Center. Funding is available for some of these programs but more is needed to support patients and their families. Support cancer patients by participating in the Every Step Matters 5K Walk. The Seacoast Mavericks need your help! Do you love baseball? Are you interested in helping to shape a young adult's career, potentially a professional baseball career? All players are aspiring professional baseball players spending the summer on the Seacoast to showcase their baseball skills.
