This week is our Rose of Sharon Sale! Three beautiful varieties have been chosen for the sale - Aphrodite, Helene and Blushing Bride. Rose of Sharons are long lasting, prolific bloomers that add lovely colour to the summer garden. They are very hardy and generally grow up to 6-10' at maturity. A show-stopper all summer! But that doesn't mean that's all that's on sale! Our Giant landscape sized hostas are on sale for only $5.98 - three varieties available - perfect for shade!

Attracting Hummingbirds

Right now the garden centre is FULL of plants in bloom that are perfect for attracting hummingbirds! The plants listed below are among the Hummingbird's favourites. While reds dominate the list, there are plenty of other colours suggested to allow a varied planting. The most important aspect of designing a Hummingbird garden is to plant for continuous bloom from spring to fall ensuring an endless supply of nectar.

The 90th Reunion for Arthur Voaden Secondary School is slated to happen September 30, October 1& 2....Deadline for tickets is August 15.
