We are ready for the weekend and filled to the brim with quality plants. New & exciting arrivals are coming in every day!
We've just received some huge tropical patio pots (pictured here) as well as some tropical trees, palms and vines (like Passion Flower and Morning Glory). We're continually receiving new shipments of perennials and are stocked full with colourful classics and unique choices. In the veggie and herb house we've received some kalettes - a sweet and nutty mix between kale and brussel sprouts, as well as some organic heirloom tomatoes. Ands as always, don't forget that we have several unadvertised in-store sales and specials.

Expert Tip of the Week

It's a great time to treat for grubs!
Nematodes are microscopic organisms that eliminate grubs in the lawn and garden. They are environmentally friendly and are perfectly safe for humans and pets! Nematodes need to be refrigerated until use. When you're ready to apply, soak the applicator sponge in a bucket of water for a few hours. Use that water as the concentrate in your hose end spray and spray your lawn. One package of 10 million nematodes will cover 2-3000 square feet. Note: keep soil moist for best results.
What's Blooming at Canadale

This week at Canadale we're noticing our STUNNING Redbud trees are in full bloom! Canadian Redbud (or Eastern Redbud - pictured here) is one of the first trees to bloom in spring. This native tree has a graceful, irregular open form. The iridescent purple-pink flowers are followed by green heart-shaped leaves. Will reach about 6m high and 3m wide at maturity. Prefers full to part sun and well drained soil. A SPRING SHOW-STOPPER!   Available in single stem or multi stem.

Kid's Club is continuing to learn about where food comes from by planting Sweet Cherry Tomatoes and making a cute clip marker.

I love you from my head "tomatoes".
