It may be cool outside, but that's just fine for the cold crop vegetables we'll be getting in to the store next week! Certain vegetable plants such as lettuce, cabbage, brussel sprouts and broccoli prefer cooler temperatures and are perfectly safe to have outside at this time of year (just cover with a blanket if there's a chance of frost overnight).

Canadale Kids Club
