Stars' Preschool programs in Weymouth and Quincy recently received five-year reaccreditation from the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NEAYC), with Weymouth scoring a perfect 100 percent in nine of the 10 program evaluation areas.

In order to successfully receive NEAYC reaccreditation, education programs must meet or exceed a score of 80 percent in areas such as curriculum, teaching, physical environment, management and assessment of child progress.  Article about Quincy Preschool

The Holbrook Jr./Sr. High School STARS afterschool program is in full swing this fall - 30 students participate in the 4 day/week program working on academic skills and participating in project-based clubs.  Students are engaged in video and music production, digital photography and culinary arts clubs this fall.  Several students toured Berklee College in October and got a behind the scenes look at the school's music production studios.

Funded by a 21st Century Community Learning Center grant, the out-of-school time program provides academic support and enrichment activities to academically at-risk students in grades 7 through 9.
