Should you have any questions, feel free to contact our Executive Director, Jeff Jordan, at

Anaheim Ballet

Founded in 1982, the Anaheim Ballet's mission is to enlighten and entertain audiences with classically rooted programming and contemporary presentation.  The Anaheim Ballet provides quality performances to audiences of balletomanes as well as novice ballet-goers and acts as a haven to talented Southern California artists and as a magnet to international talents.

The STEP-UP program helps the disadvantaged and at risk youth raise their personal standards of excellence through rigorous, athletic dance training.  In addition, regular training sessions at Anaheim Ballet foster physical fitness, teamwork and self-esteem.

The Leo Buscaglia grant will enhance the STEP-UP Educational Outreach program, build a subscription series and increase it's national and international recognition.

Boys Hope Girls Hope of Southern California

In 1991, the Boys Hope Girls Hope of Southern California opened their doors.  Boys Hope Girls Hope helps academically and motivated children-in-need to meet their full potential and become men and women for others by providing value-centered family-like homes, opportunities and education through college.

Their efforts in Southern California aim to combat problematic issues such as homelessness, the ever-increasing high school drop out rate, unemployment, gang involvement and teen pregnancy, by offering a comprehensive program that fulfills a wide of needs.

The grant received from the Leo Buscaglia Foundation has been used to provide staff training in the form of Therapeutic Crisis Intervention and college assistance training, on-going counseling for our scholars, meals for the homes, tutoring and college-preparatory services and other support.
