AOA Coverage from Philly

Thanks to all our alumni who interacted with SCO at the recent AOA meeting in Philadelphia. From visiting our booth to attending SCO's Friday night reception for alumni and friends, the college was well represented with alumni, students and faculty in attendance. David Cockrell, OD '81, pictured, became the 12th SCO graduate to be installed as AOA President. He joined President Phillips in making remarks at SCO's Friday night reception. Congratulations are also in order for SCO Board of Trustees member James Sandefur, OD '65, who was named recipient of the Virgil Deering Executive Director Award of Excellence.
