Well things are crazy busy here at the FUSE office today making the final preparations for the Inspiring Abilities Expo! Due to the heavy workload today, we are sending out just a short newsletter to highlight some things coming up in the immediate future. In March we will try to bring you more information from around central Indiana like we do most of the time. Hope to see you at the Expo!

Inspiring Abilities Expo Registration Open
Don't forget the 8th annual Inspiring Abilities Expo!
We have 60 vendors coming to exhibit, so there will be LOTS for families to see and learn at the expo this year. Come out and learn how these organizations and service providers can help meet the unique needs of children with disabilities.
Saturday, March 1, 2014 9:00 am to 1:00 am Greenfield-Central High School 810 N Broadway Greenfield IN 46140
Cost: no charge
Click here to view more information and register online
Six speakers will be scheduled throughout the day. Sessions will be available for all age groups, so families with young children can learn as much as families whose children are transitioning from high school to adult life. We will also feature three demonstrations so families can see firsthand some of the fun services and programs available to their children.
The Inspiring Abilities Expo is supported in part by sponsorships from Applied Behavior Center for Autism, JMC Technology Group, Unlocking the Spectrum and Vectren. See our website for a list of other generous sponsors.

March Parent Meeting--Hancock County
Well, the first two Q&A meetings of 2014 in Greenfield were cancelled, and it looks questionable that we will be able to meet in March again due to the weather. At FUSE we are DEFINITELY over the snow! Just in case the forecasters are wrong, we still have a plan in place for a meeting Monday, March 3. Just remember, if school is cancelled in Greenfield, or if after school events are cancelled, the meeting is automatically cancelled.
With that being said, a Q&A session is scheduled for Monday. We hope you will join us for some networking and problem solving with other families, finding support and encouraging others! Bring your questions, stories, challenges and dilemmas, and we'll tackle them together.

Saturday, April 12, 2014
6:00 pm

Admission $6.00 Children 10 and under admitted free
Your child is invited to be an honored guest at this event. Registration is required. Registered children will be recognized between the games at mid-court, where they will be introduced and receive a free basketball. Each child's introduction will highlight their interests, hobbies and talents, so we will be recognizing their own all star ABILITIES and promoting awareness. Each child will be paired with an all-star player during the presentation.
To guarantee that your child receives their free basketball, please register by Wednesday, April 2.
You can register online by clicking this link, or contact FUSE at 317 462-9064 or [email protected].
The girls game starts at 6:00 P.M. and the boys game will immediately follow the basketball presentation. Families should arrive by 6:30 P.M. through the main entrance and meet at the north entrance gym doors. Parents will not need to pay admission. Remember, preregistration is required to participate so we can properly prepare your child's introduction.
All proceeds from this game benefit FUSE. Thanks to the Lions Clubs and New Palestine High School for this fun event!

Save the Date for An Evening of Celebration
FUSE families, volunteers and donors, please save the date and plan to attend An Evening of Celebration on Thursday, April 10. An Evening of Celebration is our annual meeting where we recognize the donors and volunteers who help us make our programs a success.
In previous years, this event has been a dinner, but this year we are changing things up a bit. Come join us for delectable treats at our new dessert reception.
We also have a special speaker every year, and believe me you will NOT want to miss this! Three members of the Under 18 US Power Soccer Team will share with us their stories and experiences winning the first U18 World Cup Championship in Paris, France, last year! These kids are awesome and you are going to love hearing their story.
Thursday, April 10
Trinity Park United Methodist Church Conference Center
7:00 pm

SAVE THE DATE! Registration will be available mid March.
