Message from the BALIF Board
Greetings!

With Halloween fast approaching it's time for a grand event. BALIF and AABA are teaming together to throw a Halloween Eve Fundraising Extravaganza for LYRIC on Thursday, October 30th. Come as a lawyer, a banker, a candlestick maker. Have a fabulous time!

LYRIC is a San Francisco charitable organization that provides primarily impoverished or homeless LGBTQ youth paid job training internships through its Youth Workforce Development Program, including 100+ jobs over the past year.

"LYRIC has altered my life so immensely. I could not imagine my life if I hadn't taken this path. I have so many skills now. [LYRIC] has opened up many, many opportunities for me." Joshua, Queer Educator, age 21.

To continue its great work, LYRIC needs your help. $1000 gives an LGBTQ kid a job, and a future! Please go to www.balif.org/LYRICparty to buy individual tickets for just $25, or to be a sponsor. We can't wait to see you at the Halloween Eve Extravaganza.
