Test Press Artwork Contest Series Vol. VI

We've only received a few submissions for this, so we're extending the deadline until October 1st because we think it's a pretty darn cool idea for fans to have the option of creating the artwork for the albums' test presses.... right???  Check out the deetz:

For the sixth installment in the test press artwork contest series, we find ourselves coming in at Sheath014, Constants' sprawling 3xLP masterpiece The Foundation, The Machine, The Ascension!

You can stream the album HERE for inspiration :)

5 of these test presses were pressed, but only 4 remain. We had originally either screen printed or spray painted (can't remember which, it was 4 years ago - hard to believe!) a special one-of-a-kind jacket for a copy we gave the band. These other 4 copies have been chillin' like villains in one of our test press crates ever since :)  So we figure it's high-time to get some jackets made for them!

Head over to the message board HERE to read all the details of the contest, including how to submit your artwork :) Lets create some magic together!

The Mylene Zine, Issue #4

Can you believe that it's been over two years since we banged out an issue of the zine??? For those of you that don't know, we used to periodically publish a fun little zine where you can submit stories, photos, poems, drawings or anything else creative that you'd like a platform to share :) It has kinda broken down like this in past issues:

- Creative Writing: poems and short stories
- Current Affairs: Info, opinions, or rants about things going in the world
- Photography, Art & Design: Submit photos, drawings, paintings or any other artwork
- Music & Entertainment: topics directly related to running a record label, a distro, being in a band, booking shows, collecting vinyl... you get the idea :)

Those are just some guidelines to get your brain going, you can submit anything you think is relevant :) It's a lot of fun, and we're stoked to start collecting submissions for this 4th installment! So if you have anything you'd like to send over, please write to us and lets talk about it and get your work included! There is no deadline yet, we just wanted to get the ball rolling now and gauge how much content we'll end up receiving. So please contribute and lets make the 4th issue the best one yet!! Email us at [email protected] and lets get busy!
