International Airport Expansion

The expansion of the east terminal of the Juan Santamaria International Airport, Costa Rica, is scheduled to begin soon, reported the Costa Rican newspaper La República. The expansion will allow the airport to respond to the growing number of tourists traveling to Costa Rica.

The remodeling will include the expansion of two new boarding gates, thus providing the terminal with a total of 11 gates. This airport is expecting to serve 3.5 million passengers in 2015.

Greetings!

Costa Rica is the hot spot where everyone is looking into going. Costa Rica is a viable destination because besides its wonderful natural beauty, the country keeps on progressing in all aspects. Are you planning your next meeting or event? Read on to taste just a sample of what Costa Rica has to offer.

Costa Rica: Proving True to Its Name

Costa Rica, meaning in English "rich coast", is not only one of the greenest countries, it is also undoubtedly a country rich in colorful traditions, folklore, and friendly people. The wide variety of scenery along rivers, volcanoes, forests, beaches, and quaint towns is not only beautiful and colorful but extremely charming.

Only here are the subalpine zones, world class resorts, dream beaches, and central pacific ocean just a stone's throw away from each other. Fun, adventure, and whatever activity you expect to do when traveling is available here. You will find modern tourism infrustructure here as well. Costa Rica offers more than 30,000 hotel rooms, from 5-star resorts to boutique hotels.

The quality and the number of activites available to travelers visiting Costa Rica is almost as diverse as the

landscape. At most of the destinations you can enjoy water sports, golfing, ATVs, fishing, horseback riding, zip-lining, fashionable or typical shopping, great dining, fun cruises, whale watching, mud-baths, hiking, scuba diving, archaeological sites, and visits to still-active volcanoes that provide breathtaking views!

A Melting Pot of Cultures

A country where a wide variety of people coming from different parts of the world and of different ethnic backgrounds coexist harmoniously and in peace. That can explain why there is no standing army. The apparent differences in race, background or customs have no bearing among Ticos, a colloquial term for natives of Costa Rica.

Costa Ricans are mostly creoles or mixed, and they are considered a multiethnic society, that is, people of various backgrounds. The original source of the Costa Rican people goes back to three basic roots: Indigenous, African, and Spanish. Costa Ricans do not see nationality as an ethnicity but as a citizenship with various ethnicities.

Uniqueness is a good word to describe the culture and people of Costa Rica. Purposefully inspired design seems to be behind the history of Costa Rica and how it came to be the great nation that it is today. Choose Costa Rica and IVI DMC² will make you look great!

Sincerely,
