     space
2. Air Accessibility
3. Ground Accessibility
4. Hotel Infrastructure
5. Tourist Attractions
6. Reasonable Cost
7. Security

Enjoy the Outdoors
Many event organizers recommend outdoor meetings to enhance their clients' satis-faction.
Outdoor events after dark can be especially motivating, allowing the use of fire, illumination and even fireworks to make a impact.  Tents and awnings can create an intimate feel and are very useful if the weather changes suddenly. Take advan-tage of the great outdoors during your next meeting or event.
Make It Fun!
Even in a great location, it takes work to pull your team together and make your event truly motivating. Team-Building exercises can stimulate, motivate and otherwise break up the ordinary. Turn your next meeting into something memorable. Let IVI DMC help you plan great activities for your group.

Greetings!

When planning a large event or an important meeting, your success may depend on the facilities you choose. Throughout Latin America, there are great meeting facilities in a wide variety of exciting destinations. Consider some of our favorites when planning your next event, meeting or conference in Mexico, the Caribbean, Central America or South America.
Punta Cana, Dominican Republic
Convention Center - Paradisus Palma Real
Designed by renowned architect Alvaro Sans, the new facility totals just under 18,000 square feet and includes state-of-the-art A/V capabilities, complete with customer branding and set design. It offers meeting and banqueting rooms with the capacity for up to 1400 people, and space for congresses, exhibitions and tradeshows.

The new convention center is also environmentally friendly thanks to a new "Green meetings program" that ensures efficient energy usage, waste minimization and reduced carbon emissions during all events. More info.
Cancun, Mexico
Lakam Center
Just minutes from the Cancun International Airport, this all new event center contains more than 275,000 square feet of usable floor space on 45 acres of land. Among the largest in Latin America, this modern corporate events center was designed for events of 15,000 people and more. Previous events held here include the 2011 United Nations Global Warming Conference and the 2014 Tianguis Mexico tradeshow.
Moon Palace Arena
One of the top meeting resorts in the Mexican Caribbean, the Moon Palace Golf & Spa Resort can accommodate the largest of events. More info. Inaugurated by President Enrique Pea Nieto in May of this year, the brand new Moon Palace Arena offers over 140,000 square feet of multi-functional space, utilizing the latest in smart technology.  Built to impress with stunning outdoor terraces, it features some of the largest exhibition areas in the region, and room for 10,000 attendees.  Two of our favorites are:
  • The 55,850-square-foot Universal Ballroom which seats up to 5,000 people
  • The  26,800 square-foot Galactic Ballroom (pictured)
San Jose, Costa Rica

Offering more than 28,300 square feet of flexible event space, the Wyndham San Jos Herradura Hotel and Convention Center merges contemporary facilities with first-class service to create extraordinary events in a convenient location.  The largest event room is the spectacular 12,800 square-foot Salon La Paz Ballroom, which can be divided into five different rooms. At 2,530 square feet, the Salon Las Americas room is perfect for smaller-scale events. All of the event rooms features stylish dcor, high ceilings, the latest in ventilation technology, the most advanced multimedia equipment, and complimentary Wi-Fi.

Coming Soon:

The San Jose area will soon have another prime meeting facility. Work is now underway on the new Costa Rican National Center for Conferences and Conventions. This 160,000 square foot facility will open in 2016, and will feature a 43,000 square foot convention center with cutting edge architecture.

Panama City, Panama

Miraflores Locks Visitor Center (Panama Canal)

Only 30 minutes away from most hotels, events of up to 400 people can be held on the 4th floor, overlooking the Miraflores Locks.  A very different and flamboyant venue for events, this recently remodeled property is a great option for an "easygoing" yet classy evening.

The Westin Playa Bonita

Besides their stunning indoor ballrooms for up to 1500 guests and the exotic Pacifica Restaurant, this property offers excellent beach front event hosting that will make your clients remember Panama forever.

Whether it's in Mexico, Costa Rica, Panama or any of our more than 40 fantastic destinations, we look forward to working with you to make your next Group Travel event a truly memorable experience.
