Golf - Truly Global

Latin America has joined North America, Europe and Asia as a major force in the golf industry. With hundreds of premium courses in place, engineered by the world's top designers, Latin America is a great destination for a company tournament, or a few rounds worked into a group travel event. Major tournaments endorsed by golf's major governing bodies include the PGA Tour's OHL Classic in Playa Del Carmen, Mexico and the Latin America Amateur Championship in Buenos Aires, Argentina, whose winner receives a spot in the 2015 Masters.  Other stops on the PGA Tour include:

  - Bogotá, Colombia

  - Cordoba, Argentina

  - Rio de Janiero, Brazil

  - Santiago, Chile

  - Rio Hato, Panama

  - La Romana,

     Dominican Republic

Almost half of the golf courses in South America are found in Argentina. The success of countryman Angel Cabrera has propelled interest in the sport across the country, and has made Argentina a great choice for golf getaways. The Los Olivos Golf Course (more info) and Buenos Aires Golf Course (more info) have been ranked in the Top 100 Courses Outside the US by Golf Digest.

Traveling light? If the urge hits you, and you didn't bring your clubs, don't worry!  Local courses offer the rental of premium clubs including brands like Taylor Made, Callaway and Titlist. Green fees generally include the rental of a shared cart. Ask when booking.
Business people know what a powerful tool golf can be. Whether you are building relationships with clients, getting to know a prospective customer, or motiva-ting your staff to succeed, golf provides the ideal environment. Here in Latin America, premium golf is waiting for you! Consider some of our favorites in the region for your next golf destination.
